Asia City Media lets go of some staff

Singapore- Asia City Media Group CEO Gretchen Worth has confirmed that the company has let some staff in the Singapore office go.
“We have let some of them go and they are different levels of people. Not all of them are senior,” Worth told marketing-interactive. It will be business as usual at the other offices Worth added.

“This morning just before a quarterly meeting, some of us were told that we would be let go. We were given one hour to pack our belongings and leave the premises. This came as a shock.” Michael Franco ex-managing editor of Asia City Media as told to marketing-interactive

In a press statement, the company said a new I-S website will be launching in March.

Asia City Media Group owns I-S Magazine, BK Magazine, WHERE, and related digital products, as well as Asia City Splash, a marketing and communications company.

ACMG operates in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Singapore.
