Facebook® is a social networking site started off by Mark Zuckerberg and his college roommates while he was at Harvard University in 2004. Although it was originally limited to Harvard College students only, it quickly expanded to other colleges in the United States and eventually to the world. According to Compete.com, Facebook® is now the most widely used social networking site, followed by MySpace.
